The largest community festival in Hayward is proud to celebrate 72 years of great fishing tradition, family, fun, and the beautiful Wisconsin Northwoods.
The festival weekend kicks off with something for the whole family: a carnival and children’s games, sidewalk sales, a large handmade art & craft show, live music, and mouth-watering food booths! The celebration continues with a catch & release fishing contest, fishing photo contest, and large street dances featuring Midwest known music groups on Friday and Saturday nights. The whole weekend concludes on Sunday with a 5K run/walk, a 10K run, as well as a kid’s Minnow Run for those 12 and younger, and finally the Grand Parade in historic downtown Hayward.
