Hill Construction: Full Time Accounting Manager
 
Hill Construction LLC is a growing custom home–building general contracting company that is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. We have an opportunity to lead our financial operations in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. As our Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee construction-focused functions such as job costing, WIP reporting and billing, AP/AR, and financial reporting— it is an ideal role for someone with strong construction accounting experience who is ready to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger
  • Maintain accurate job costing and project financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and WIP schedules
  • Process billings, progress draws, retainage, and change orders
  • Monitor project budgets and profitability
  • Support project managers with cost tracking and reporting
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance documentation is current
  • Coordinate year-end audits and tax preparation
  • Improve accounting systems and internal processes
