Experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the season at the Hayward Fall Festival—an annual one-day celebration that brings downtown Hayward to life with color, creativity, and community spirit. As the leaves begin to turn, Main Street transforms into a festive hub filled with handcrafted art, unique vendor goods, and seasonal specials from local shops.
Wander through rows of fine art and craft booths showcasing regional talent, browse sidewalk sales from downtown retailers, and treat yourself to everything from comfort food classics to sweet fall treats at our food truck and vendor area. Families will find plenty to enjoy with dedicated kids’ games and interactive activities, while adults can relax in the beer and brat garden or take in live performances from local musicians throughout the day.
Whether you’re a longtime attendee or a first-time visitor, the Hayward Fall Festival offers a warm welcome and a full day of autumn magic. It’s more than just an event—it’s a tradition that captures the heart of the Northwoods each September.
Volunteer
We’re gearing up for one of Hayward’s coziest traditions—and we’d love your help to make it shine!
We’re looking for volunteers to:
- Grill up mouthwatering brats 🌭
- Help set up and clean up the festival grounds 🛠️
- Serve smiles in the beloved Beer & Brat Tent 🍺
- Help with the Apple Slingshot activity 🍎
Your time and energy create the welcoming spirit that makes our festival truly special. Whether you have an hour or an afternoon, there’s a place for you in the fun.

Scarecrow Contest
All local businesses & individuals are invited to creatively design and display a scarecrow in downtown Hayward during the 40th Annual Fall Festival on Sept. 20

The Fine Art & Craft Show will be held in Downtown Hayward from 9:00am – 5:00pm Saturday, September 20, 2025.
WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING FOOD VENDORS FOR 2025.
